PEEK is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic with excellent sliding properties, very good mechanical properties, even under thermal load and has excellent resistance to chemicals. The high continuous working temperature rounds out the profile of this high-performance plastic and makes it a virtually universally useable design material for highly stressed pars. Attribute: Tg=143℃,Tm=334℃,viscidity at 103~104,temperature at which it can be processed to transform 350~400℃.

Endures heat, stable under high heat, endures extreme heat (better than PPS). Endures impact, friction, potential transformation, fatigue, and other mechanical strength. Endures chemical (except for strong acid), hot water (above PPS, PES). Endures Y-ray, non-inflammable Under high heat or moisture, good electrical properties. Low at emitting smoke endures radiation. Expensive, needs high temperature to transform, low flowability. Good toughness, strength and hardness Endures flammability, no need to add non-inflammable agent. Not easily processed
