PC transparent / brown PC is highly durable in impact compared to all engineering plastics, hence it is widely used. Examples of its use are: laser disk, car safety pole, car handles, weather tent, feeding bottles, and camera outer case. Although ultraviolet ray may deteriorate it, but by adding an agent that can absorb the ultraviolet ray can suppress the deterioration to an appropriate level. In addition, black carbon can help prevent deterioration therefore it is used in many outdoor black-colored merchandise.
